I want to take my father fishing and I heard they are catching spots at the Beaufort Draw Bridge. Where exactly is this? Can you fish off the bank? Any other good areas to catch spots or sea mullets without a boat (in the morehead area)? Thanks

Go to Morehead City and cross the big bridge towards Beaufort. If your on a boat the ramp is on left after you cross the bridge. If you dont have a boat cross the next smaller bridge and bank fish on left after you cross it but you have to get there early for a spot. (no pun intended) lol

stay on 70E through MHC. When you go over the bridge stay to left and turn into the parking lot straight ahead. That is the Radio Island Pier......free access. They are catching Spots, Hogfish and an occassional Flounder.
