Opening day Sat. Rippin' lips. Yeah, they're stockers, but it's fun. Looking for a brooder. Perfect time for Thurs. and Fri. fly fishing. Sat. morning with the spinning rod.

It's been really surprising. The last couple years hasn't been that bad. By midday and Sun. the majority of the crowd is gone and the creek is still thick with fish. The other two nearby delayed harvest creeks really took the pressure off.

Weather was good and so was the fishing. Didn't find the "big one" but a nice 21" bow. Creek was crouded but that was to be expected. I once read a code of conduct for fishermen, man some of these people need to read it. Other than that the trip was great as usual. Thurs. and Fri. fly fishing was the best. Nobody on the creek and rising fish.
