[Swim and Jig]

Heard this was a good spot for some cats. Does anyone have any info on it? Google Maps shows some good looking bank fishing spots. I'm hunting Blues, never caught one.


I also found a spot on the Little River just North of Pope beside what looks to be a water treatment facility of some sort. I need to scout that one too. May try to go this weekend if anyone is interested.

You'll catch blues around lock 3. Clam beds are in shallow water. Those blues will have a belly full of shells.

Thx! Any suggestions on bait types? I've been using cut bait in the small Fort Bragg ponds.

Never fished with eel. You guys chunk em up?

Buy live ones at the bait store. Just hook that sucker somewhere in the middlin area.

I use eels live or chunked for blues. Doesn't matter.
