I did a scout day yesterday in the wind - lovely SW winds! Ugh. Didn't mark any large pods of bait and a bit rough to see but plenty of mullets, small, in area.

Had my helper Jon with me hoping to get him on some fish, the dude is obsessed. Got into some flounder getting one thick 18 1/2 slab. Water Sky Vertebrate Cloud Sleeve

Things are getting a little better.

Big Drum trip schedule filling up - get in while u can and will again be taking mullet orders for you bait soakers.

I understand one of the local bait guys cussed and cut off a regular customer over the CCA issue. Some are holding these issues over rec folks when problems we have now are in our NCDMF management hands - not between one another.

Good to know Dave, hope the winds die down some next week. We will be down Mon thru Thurs, you know where...:) Chasing what ever will bite. Make the long runs in the early morning when its the calmest and work our way back as the winds pick up.
