i got to fish the lower yadkin before it dumps into high rock today.
we ran about 15 miles up stream from the york hill launch and worked our way back. bass were stacked up in thick flood trash and on ledge drops. just had to work at it to catch them pop-r were good early. but heavily sinkered texas rigged big worms caught the most fish..

we launched a 20 foot bass boat out of york hill with no problems..

Yadkin heads up here where I'm at. We have Kerr Scott Lake on that chain. Some really good trout in those head waters.
