Your favorite surf rig?

1062 Views 4 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Nat's Dad
I'll be headed down to North Topsail next week with the family and looking to improve what little skills I've developed over years worth of one week vacations and surf fishing. I have always used either a fish finder rig or what I would consider something of a high/low rig w/ 2 hooks at different heights weighted at the bottom. Fresh shrimp has been my go to bait.

Since we are creeping into early fall this year I was wondering if I should change anything up?

Anybody have a favorite rig that has brought them consistent luck in the surf?

Good ole 2 hook bottom rig is the only thing I ever mastered, during vacations and rare day trips to the beach. Fresh shrimp for bait.
