but i noticed yesterday at dick's (@new hope commons, durham) that at least some of their okuma stratus reels (spinning and 1 baitcaster model) were on sale for $29.95 (regularly "on sale" for $39.95). i have the ultralight model, and am very pleased with it (i should have posted a review -- will try to do that asap). these are decent "cheap" reel; they have 9 or so BB, but i'd be very careful about using them in salt. the "stratus" model seems to be a special dicks-only model made by okuma.
if you can find a "coach's corner" coupon for $10 off any purchase over $25, you *could* get the reel for $19.95 (!).
